Heritage 1948 supply a Superior Quality Range of British Made Hood Sticks Sets and Component Parts to fit many variations of Land Rover Hoods.
The ‘3/4 Tilt’ 88” Horizontal Tie bar (HER-88-1) is for use on the 3/4 Tilt SWB (Short Wheel Base) Land Rover Series 2 or 3 models (Approx 1958 - 1985). Two Horizontal Tie Bars are needed to complete the 88” 3/4 Tilt / Truck Cab Set Up (one left and one right hand side).
For clarity on its exact position & use, please see the ‘Exploded Hood Stick’ Diagram in the images. Please note that these Horizontal Tie Bars are for use with the 88” 3/4 Hood Series 2/3 vehicle only and are not the same as for the 88” Full Hood or the LWB (Long wheel Base) models. They are also shorter than the Horizontal Tie Bars fitted to a Defender 90.
