Fume Curtains where an optional extra for Land Rover Series 2 & 3 vehicle from 1958 to 1985.
The Fume Curtain, used in conjunction with a full canvas hood and offer the front passengers increased insulation from the cold and road noise while keeping the fumes and cold air in the rear load area, especially useful if you frequently roll up the rear curtain and side on you land Rover Series hood.
The 88” & 109” Land Rover fume curtain can also be used in conjunction with our Bikini hood creating a flexible, canvas Land Rover Truck cab experience.

For the production of our 88” / 109” Land Rover Series 2/3 Fume curtain we exclusively use our ‘Moorland’ 100% Cotton Canvas, Moorland Canvas was selected for our hoods after extensive testing many different types and grades of Canvas, our Moorland canvas was chosen for its superior durability, colour fasting properties, in addition to this Moorland canvas is treated to protect agents rot, fungus and UV damage.
Heritage Land Rover hoods are fitted with real brass buckles, tips and eyelets and not inferior brass coated items that quickly corrode as fitted to some re-production hoods.
Khaki: A traditional dark green canvas with dark Olive webbing & binding finished with Brass buckets, tips and eyelets.
Sand / Light Khaki: A traditional sand canvas with matching sand webbing & binding finished with Brass buckets, tips and eyelets.
Black: A popular aftermarket hood colour that can compliment a modified or traditional Land Rover equally, finished with black webbing & binding, Brass buckets, tips and eyelets. (currently available by special request)

Moorland Canvas has been treated to protect agents rot, fungus and UV damage.
To maintain this protection and keep your hood in good condition we recommend you clean and treat you Canvas hood at least once a year.
Our Canvas Land Rover hoods should be cleaned by hand with warm water and a soft brush. Once clean and dry we recommend re-treating them with a canvas proofer such as Nikwax or Fabsil. This will ensure the greatest posable lifespan of our hoods.
