The Heritage 1948 Land Rover Steering Wheel Boss Kit has been carefully considered to meet the needs of Land Rover owners. Styled on a vintage British aftermarket Steering Wheel Boss to be the perfect finish to our range of upgraded Steering Wheels. The Boss is made from a single piece of cast metal and finished in a subtle Satin Black finish.
Available in both 36 and 48 Spline, the Boss Kit will fit a wide range of Land Rover models from 1967 Series 2A, right through to 2014 Land Rover Defender.
The Heritage Steering Wheel Boss Kit comes complete with fixings, screws and black centre push horn.
The Heritage Steering Wheel Boss Kit is specifically designed to fit ALL of our Steering Wheels, however it will also fit many other aftermarket Steering Wheels with either a 9 hole 102mm PCD fitting, or a 6 hole 100mm PDC fitting. We do however only guarantee fitment to our own range of wheels.

FITTING:
From 1967 - 2016 Land Rover fitted both 36 & 48 Spline Steering Columns. For guaranteed fitment we would recommend removing you current wheel and counting the splines. Due to the irregular use of both the 36 & 48 spline steering column, it is not possible to determine your spline count by the year model alone.
Please note: If fitting to Series Land Rover, a simple modification may be required to attach the automatic indicator cancelling collar to your Boss.
Please note: The Heritage 1948 Land Rover Boss Kit is not suitable for Defender year models 2015 - 2016 or Defenders fitted with Dynamic Stability Control. This is due to a different indicator cancelling arrangement using sockets in the wheel rather than prongs.
